Microwave Lava Cake
There's a good chance this is the only reason I'm still married to my wife.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 6 pinches salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup butter, melted (Substitute with vegetable oil.)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 6 tablespoons chocolate chips (For the molten lava center.)
- 6 scoops vanilla ice cream
Steps
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until the batter is smooth and no lumps remain.
- Divide the batter evenly into 6 microwave-safe mugs or small bowls.
- Place 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips in the center of each mug without stirring them in.
- Microwave each mug individually on high for 45-60 seconds, depending on microwave power. The top should be set, but the center should be molten.
- Put a big scoop of vanilla ice cream right on top and dig right in.
